Diamond Princess Cruise during COVID-19 briefing on CNN
Princes Cruises retained Sound Counsel when it’s cruise ship Grand Princess was denied access to its home berth at the Port of San Francisco and redirected to the Port of Oakland.  A world-wide audience followed the cruise ship’s saga, whose passengers and crew represented 54 nationalities. The ship remained quarantined at sea for four days with two passengers and 19 crew members having tested positive for COVID-19.  Sound Counsel was present when the ship was permitted to dock in Oakland to offload its more than 2,400 passengers, while most of the over 1,100 crew members remained on board in quarantine.
